Refurbishments & Re-modelling
No matter how sad your pool is looking we can bring it back to 'as new' condition. As the pictures on this page of some refurbs we have carried out show, we love a challenge!
We'll let you guess which are the before and which are the after pictures! Some of these pools are featured in our 'Projects' page where you can see more pictures and read about what was included in the job.
We can provide the following 'standard' refurbishment services:-
- Acid Wash mosaic tiles or Marblelite* to bring it back to its original colour
- Vinyl liner replacement
- On-site vinyl liner replacement for increased quality and ability to run a liner pool at higher temperatures
- Re-plaster Marbelite*
- Re-tile mosaic pool or tile a Marbelite* pool to give it that wow factor
- Repair or replace worn coping stones. Coupled with some of the options this will really give the pool a new look
You may want to re-model your pool to make it work better for you or simply to make it look more contemporary. Examples to this may include removing Roman Ends, adding quarter circle corner steps, removing swim-throughs etc. or adding water fountains/features adjacent to the pool.
We can update your pool to a more contemporary design by a number of ways such as:-
- Re-tiling the pool with a more modern design or colour combination
- Removing or modifying that dated tile band
- Replacing standard copings with paving slabs that are machined to make them into copings so the deck becomes all one colour
- Remove or replace that slide or diving board that's never used and makes the pool look cluttered
- Fitting updated, colour changing or simply brighter, underwater lighting with the option to control these from your phone!
- The list is endless.....call us to chat about the options.
This may be the ideal time to revamp your plant room at the same time and fit more energy efficient and safer heaters, pumps, filters and control panels.
Below are a selection of pictures of refurbishements we have carried out. Clicking on any of them will open the picture in full screen and from there, you can scroll through them. Each picture is paired so the first is the before and the second is the after picture. Where possible, the picturers are taken from the same place and angle but are always of the same object or part of the pool. eg., the first pair below "Sad and Happy skimmer" are of the same skimmer on the same pool but from different angles.
